Four cancelled interviews. Four. I applied online and was contacted by someone from their talent acquisition department for a 30 minute zoom interview. The evening before, quite late he emailed me that he had to reschedule. No problem, we rescheduled for the following week. The second interview he emailed canceling a few hours prior, letting me know the position had been put on hold. Bummer - but the position was never taken down, and in fact repromoted less than two weeks later on LinkedIn. I emailed him after seeing it was re-promoted and heard from him another week later, asking to schedule a time to meet again. About one hour before our now third interview he emailed to cancel and reschedule again. Ok.... I rescheduled for a fourth time and four minutes (yes, four minutes) before our fourth meeting he emailed to cancel and reschedule yet again. I replied that I honestly wasn't sure if this were a company for me if this was the way things went there, and was met with a reply stating that if that's how I felt then I'm not a fit and all the best. This was a shock to me, and after a few days of thinking about it I sent the CEO a message on LinkedIn just letting her know how the experience went, and that they are likely missing out on great candidates due to this behavior. The next day the recruiter sent me an email apologizing and ensuring me that this was not typical of Mejuri or his own behavior; if I were open to it he would like to speak the following week. I accepted the apology and tried to reschedule a fifth time to meet with him.... he emailed back that to not waste anyone's time it's best to pass.
I will never work for, nor do business with this company.
