A recruiter sets up a phone screen first to request information and then ask questions about your level of competency within the organization, such as technology, medical equipment, calculus, statistics, and physics. Additional questions about experience in the clinical and/or hospital environment follow with expectations of at least 6-8 months of patient handling experience. Management experience of 4-5 years is preferred, but not required. Following the phone screening, if Medtronic decides to pursue, they will call you in for a 1:1 interview, possibly in addition to the board interview. These interview questions are strictly scenario-based questions in addition to requesting documentation reinforcing employment experience and certification. Referrals also help. If another interview is scheduled, additional informational follow up procedures entail.
