I applied online. I interviewed at Maxim Healthcare (Peoria Heights, IL) in Jan 2021
Interview
Applied online for Client Coordinator position.
I was contacted within a couple of days and had a 20-minute phone screen with the Operations Manager. They explained the company as it compares to similar companies in the area. He briefly explained the role and expectations of the role. I asked for the pay range, as this role can very much vary. The role came in about $10 short of my salary requirement. I asked if there was an opportunity to telecommute, and he stated that they are all returning to the office. I explained that would be a lifestyle change for me with that salary. He said he would have to get approval for a salary adjustment that large, but he would like to have me in to discuss and see the office.
I had a 90-minute interview with the Operations manager a few days later. The office was in a great location that was clean and professional. We discussed the company in more detail as well as my experience in detail.
He was unable to provide me my salary requirements (he actually quoted lower in the in-person interview than on the phone) and explained telecommuting was not an option at this time...but there may be talks of it in the future. He also explained that there were specific office hours, that had some but minimal autonomy. He said I can go home and think about it, and get back to him. I ended up withdrawing from the position before being moved forward in the interview process.
It was really good.
1. phone screen- basic call that took 10-20 minutes.
2. in person interview- lasted an 1 hour and 20 minutes. Asked 10-20 questions, then got to talk with some members of the team.
3. zoom interview with area VP- I am currently in this stage, but hoping it goes well.

Interview
I interviewed for the Client Coordinator position and participated in multiple rounds over a month, including an in-person visit to meet and shadow the team. They seemed to really like me- we had a pleasant conversation, I was in the office for over an hour, I met every employee, etc. Unfortunately, this is one of those companies that ghosts you instead of just letting you know you didn't get the job. The lack of communication after in-person interactions was disappointing and so frustrating.

Interview
The interview was more than 2 hours long with someone who I wasn't supposed to originally interview with. The pay information was also changed during the interview process compared to the posting. The process was extremely drawn out for an entry level role.
