Max Planck Institute for Computer Science interview questions

There was a single interview with a researcher from the team. The interview was not really technical and was mostly a discussion about the resume and experiences. They also require sending a transcript and look at the grades. I received a positive response after only a few days.

The interview process is rather simple, it wants to explore your contributions as a researcher, rather than knowing if you know everything. Generally you discuss what are your research interests, and if you are posed to a problem, you can explain how you would solve it.
