I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mastercard (Kuala Lumpur) in Sept 2022
Interview
The interview process was unprofessional. I waited for 10 minutes in the lobby after texting the HR representative to let them know I had arrived, only for them to inform me that the interview was canceled. They asked me to reschedule, and although I didn't feel good about the company, I agreed to a new interview time out of courtesy. During the interview, the hiring manager kept sighing, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Afterward, I texted the HR representative to thank them for the opportunity, but they only read my message and never responded. I assumed they weren't interested in hiring me, especially since they had canceled the initial interview.

Question 1
Not even asked to introduce myself. Not a pleasant experience what so ever
HR facilitation was poor. Emails often went unanswered, and I had to chase for basic clarifications even during the interview process.
The interview structure was never explained — I went through what seemed like a loop interview across 3–4 rounds, with no briefing on what each round entailed. As a candidate, I had no idea what to prepare for. • After investing time and energy across multiple rounds, I never received a final outcome — not even a courtesy rejection email, despite following up more than once. It felt dismissive of the time and effort candidates put in.
