I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Master of Code Global (Top of the World, CA) in May 2025
Interview
The interview process for a design role was standard (minus the assignment part since it was a big ask): There was an initial recruiter call, followed by a lengthy design assignment, a one-hour team panel interview, and then a one-hour client interview.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Master of Code Global in Sept 2022
Interview
I completed several interview stages:
- HR interview with the recruiter
- Professional interview with Sales Expert
- Interview with CEO and Delivery Director
There was supposed to be one more final stage with more people.
Each interview was about 1 hour long, the interviewers were professional and open. They gave a lot of information about the company and showed their interest in communication with me.

Question 1
What are your biggest achievements throughout your career?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Master of Code Global (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2022
Interview
Master of Code reached out to me for a Conversation Designer role. The recruiter was really friendly from the get-go and overall the company seemed excited to talk to me, which was a great feeling. The interview process was thorough, which showed me that they knew exactly what kind of skills they were looking for.
I also completed a pretty comprehensive interview task and got some feedback on it. For a new Conversation Designer, it was challenging but doable. And it gave me a glimpse of what the job would be like.
The CEO was part of final interview, which showed me how much the company values hiring the right person.
Onboarding is unique at this company. You have a couple of months to go through a curriculum and learn all about Conversation Design, complete small projects and get feedback. It's a great way to learn quickly and feel prepared before jumping on to your first client project. This was a big highlight for me and it made me feel comfortable in the role quickly. They're constantly improving the curriculum and you feel supported from day 1.
