I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Massachusetts Trial Court (Boston, MA) in Feb 2024
Interview
I applied on the Mass Trial Court job website in early December 2023. The hiring manager called me in early February 2024 to set up an interview. The interview was in-person at their office. Three lawyers interviewed me, each asking about 3-5 questions each. Interview lasted about an hour. I consider myself comfortable in interviewers and able to do well to either get the position or advance to final consideration when I don’t get the job. Not the case here! I found the questions poorly worded and I had to ask for clarifications and reword them just to make sure I understood what they were asking. Some of the questions were redundant between the panel, just worded differently. Fortunately, by the end, it was clear to me and them that I wasn’t a good fit for the role!
