This was the weirdest and one of the most negative job interviews I've had. I applied to be a Sr. RESEARCH Coordinator, a title which I already had at another (arguably better regarded) institution. As I told the interview what I do on a daily/weekly/etc. basis, she concluded that it's not "real" research and that being a Sr. Research Coordinator with her would be too much of an uphill effort for her to deal with. I told her that all I do is work on research studies and that's why I have the title of Sr. RESEARCH Coordinator, and she gave me a very distinct look of disgust.
I get it if she wasn't interested in my for whatever reason. My research experience is different that what she was looking for, she already interviewed the "perfect" person, or another perfectly valid reason. However, the way she acted was extremely disrespectful I'm honestly surprised she has a job at all. Either way - I glad to have not gotten the job offer.
