I interviewed a total of 13 times, twice on the phone with the person for whom I'd work, and then with the whole company (6 people). Then I interviewed in-person initially with the person with whom I'd work, and after the team phone interviews, with the rest of the team. My third interview involved going over the software with the manager after familiarizing myself with it for about a week. This was after I'd already done so in person with him. Overall, things seemed to go very well, the CEO told me he felt I was his number 1 candidate. I have to admit, I was beginning to get troubled by the excessive interview process. Regardless, although the manager said he'd be calling me in a few days or when he got back from his trip, I never heard from him again. In all my years interviewing with companies, I was really surprised at such unprofessionalism. I'm now glad I didn't get the job.
