I applied online through the "Careers" section of www.markelcorp.com. I was actually surprised to get an email from their HR department in about an hour after I applied. After a few emails back and forth with a HR generalist, I was invited in for an interview the very next day. I interviewd first with the HR generalist before moving on to talk to two professional liability underwriting managers. I was in the office for about an hour and 45 minutes.
