A very friendly, informal chat with two members of the social team who made me feel very comfortable and at ease. We chatted so much during the Q&A section, that we slightly ran out of time for the presentation section as they had to jump off promptly for another call - which may have hindered my chance as less time to talk through the PPT.
Unfortunately I didn't get a job offer, but when requested back via email, they gave some constructive feedback. Although I was definitely qualified for the part time role coming from a Social Media Manager position, they went for someone from a more senior role than me and perhaps (I'm assuming here) someone who had lived experience with Marie Curie and it's amazing support so had a more special/sentimental/emotional tie to it - which is understandable from my POV.
A huge plus of the interview process was that they sent the interview questions ahead of time, which was REFRESHING. It meant I could calmly work through my answers in my own time and feel prepared. I mentioned how lovely it was and I encourage every company/charity/organisation to follow suit. It makes a world of difference for people who find interviews anxiety inducing!
