I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Margaret Dabbs London (London, England) in May 2020
Interview
Very intimidating, not really friendly, I had 4 people's suiting accross me and looking at me and asking the questions.
They made me feel uncomfortable multiple time, they wasn't asking to make me comfortable but more to do distabilise me
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Margaret Dabbs London (London, England) in Jun 2023
Interview
First, I had a phone call (initial interview) with a guy. Just a few simple questions. Later on, I got an invitation for another stage. They asked me what time was the best for me, and I said (let's say 2) and I've been waiting on Zoom for someone for 10 minutes. Then they replied they didn't see my email and they could do 7 pm (which is a bit crazy for them to still be in the office so late??). Anyway, the girl was in a rush (well, it was evening wasn't it). But the talk was nice and I had big hopes, actually. Unfortunately, NO ONE EVER CAME BACK TO ME WITH ANY FEEDBACK OR EVEN SIMPLY TELL ME THEY WILL GO WITH ANOTHER CANDIDATE. DISRESPECTFUL
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Margaret Dabbs London (London, England)
Interview
Design tasks, unreasonable questions, discrimination, and a lack of knowledge regarding the field were encountered during the second-round interview. I believe there’s a lot of room for improvement in the interview process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Uncomfortable questions as well as lack of knowledge about design practice.
