Interviewed first with HR, then involved team leads who gave more details about the position and surprised me with a quick technical exam, then the department head. All online and went smoothly. Took about 3-4 weeks from application to job offer

Question 1
How are you going to work on something that is newly established, ie no one else can guide you through?
The interview process was fairly straightforward. The interview began with the the interviewee giving a self introduction to the panel. Then, the interviewer proceeds with asking follow up questions. The questions usually involve one's education background, employment history and so forth.
Three rounds of interviews with your (potential) senior mentor.
First round was asking your background and education, why you want to apply for this position. A task was set due to present in a few days.
Second round was about your topic with slides and presentation. The interviewer would leave comments and ask questions regarding it.
Third round was about job title and basic salary (not including bonus), promotion opportunities, duties to cover etc. Offer was almost certain at that time.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Manulife in Mar 2025
