The interview was relaxed but mentally demanding. They were courteous and tried to create a comfortable atmosphere. I was asked to turn off my camera, which surprisingly helped me feel more at ease and focus better on the questions.

The technical malaria questions were detailed and challenging, covering areas like transmission, diagnosis, vector control, and intervention strategies. They tested both theoretical understanding and practical application, requiring a solid grasp of current malaria control efforts and public health approaches.

Was initially recruited for a full time paid position and then was offered an unpaid internship. Overall it was a very bizarre process but ended up taking the position for more work experience.
