Interview
Using the Magic Ears platform after scheduling your interview, you will be able to preview the lesson you will need to give during the demo, giving you enough time to prepare and gather your teaching supplies. The interviewer will ask you a few questions about yourself and your work experience, then proceed to tell you to start your lesson demo as if they were a 5-year-old with very limited English. This will go on for 5-8 minutes until the interviewer stops you.
The interview process entailed of a short demo video, and two online interviews in which it was necessary to pretend to teach with the given materials. They suggest that you create some props and be as enthusiastic and fun as possible to align with the company values.
The interview went very well and my mock class but they never got back to me. They said they would reply in 2 or 3 days. Never contacted me again. Unreliable company.
The interviewer was a pleasure, extremely friendly, and informative. Beginning with a few mandatory questions we then began the interview process which was, too, rather pleasant. All material was available prior to the interview, allowing for pre-reading and preparation. Expectations were clerly outlined. All-in-all, enjoyable.
