      Software Engineer Interview

      3 Sept 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Madwire

      Interview

My first interview was cancelled. Apparently, the interviewer forgot he was going to be on a plane during the time the interview was scheduled for. My second interview lasted 30 seconds: the interviewer informed me that they don’t hire remotely from my state. Was it too much to communicate this to me ahead of time? How did you and your recruiting agency overlook this in the application process?
