Overall, this interview was pretty tacky. They acted unprepared, and they didn't even pull up any files. They just made me fill out an availability sheet. As soon as I went in to the room with the manager she said she was very concerned about my schedule. 1)I applied online. If there was seriously going to be a problem with my schedule, then why did you waste my time driving 30 minutes to get there for a 10 minute interview? I should have just been notified that my schedule didn't work for them. Also, I would like to point out that I'm a college student and I have a part time job. It wasn't my part time job that affected the position, but my school hours. I attend school until 11 50 pm 3 days a week, and until 12 50 pm 2 days a week. I'm also available on weekends and holidays. So please, tell me how that can not be worked around? And then, to top it all of, she confused everyone by saying there was a position where I could choose all my own hours. Well how does that make any sense? Her questions were fine, but she seemed to be confused with some of them and hesitated before asking them. Also, she did this weird handshake thing...I tried to firmly shake my hand, but she grabbed the tip of my fingers and barely moved her hand. It was the weirdest thing ever. I also didn't think her attitude was very professional, and I don't think I will apply there again. She said she would put my file in their pile, in case I were to be hired on for seasonal, but I'm not sure I'll accept the offer.
