I applied online. I interviewed at Macmillan Learning (Austin, TX) in Feb 2022
Interview
The interview process was unnecessarily lengthy. Interviewed with multiple departments in one day and then more the next.
As long as you tie your experience to the role, you’re golden. Be prepared to give examples that tie directly to role expectations or needs.

Question 1
In what ways, specifically, did you work with multiple departments on a shared project and maintain momentum when one or more departments were at different stages of production?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Macmillan Learning in Apr 2026
Interview
Initial interview with hiring manager (pretty relaxed, just a conversation). Panel interview with three directors (a lot of situational questions). Project (data portion and 3-minute video). Final interview (fly-in to meet with hiring manager and director).
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Macmillan Learning
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter and very excited about the opportunity. The first interview was with a senior level manager because they had not hired the direct report for this position yet. She was almost 15 minutes late to the virtual interview. The next steps were a “project”, demo and panel interview. Be prepared to invest some of your personal time preparing as all you get is access to a course on their platform. After my panel interview, I decided this wasn’t a good fit for me so I declined moving forward. Quite frankly I didn’t want to invest more time and was not impressed with the opinions shared here. The project was building out a 90 day plan - it was never even discussed. So whoever does get the job will have a high quality roadmap to start.
