I recently interviewed for an HR Coordinator role, and I was honestly taken aback by the length and intensity of the process. It felt like it went on forever—about 4 to 5 stages, with multiple rounds of interviews with different people. While I appreciate thoroughness, this felt excessive for an entry-level HR position.
The interviewer was not particularly friendly, which made the experience less comfortable than I would have liked. After making it all the way to the final round, I ended up waiting a long time to hear back, only to be told I didn't get the role.
Overall, the interview process was much longer and more grueling than I expected for an HR Coordinator position. I understand they want to find the best fit, but I think this kind of process is overkill for a role like this.
