I applied for the FP&A Business Partner role (VP) in November 2019 and interviewed with two senior managers in the FP&A division, who had both been in MUFG Securities for 10 and 15 years respectively. The interview went very well and both managers asked fairly basic, competency and role relate questions. However, HR has been absolutely unprofessional and not bothered to come back with any feedback on the interview. I have chased 2-3 members of the HR team only to get radio silence or OOO replies. During the interview stage as well, HR was all over the place, they sent me interview details for someone else's interview and on pointing it out to them, they did not even apologise and then confirmed mine last minute with less than 18 hrs to go. This is not only unprofessional but reflects poorly on the culture of an organisation like MUFG in London, UK. Furthermore, my sources tell me the role has still not been filled and is still vacant (as this role came to me via a recruiter as well as my application directly to MUFG online). It is unfortunate that an organisation with good managers and an interesting role is being let down by its HR team.
