Easy technical questions. More about research ideas and long term career plans. Details about previous laboratory and experience in specific areas. A lot of questions about publications. A few details about statistical analysis

I emailed the PI directly by email and he invited me to his office for an interview.
It was laid back interview mostly he talked about his research and lab. Then he introduced me to his department program manager. She created Discover online application for me .
