I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at MCR (Cleveland, OH) in Apr 2024
Interview
The interview was like most, if not all, interviews that I have had throughout my professional career. As of now, there is only one interview, which will be given by either the Front Office Manager or the Assistant General Manager. Depending on the needs of the company and how well you interview, you can either be hired on-the-spot, or they will contact you within a few days' time.

Question 1
Like most interviewers, they ask about your previous work experience.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at MCR (New York, NY) in Jul 2025
Interview
Interview process felt disorganized with limited communication before, during, and after. I was invited to New York and met primarily with associates from other departments, which seemed intended to showcase culture. The takeaway was an expectation to burn the midnight oil with little work life balance. Compensation discussed was well below market for the role. On the day of, I received only five minutes with the direct hiring manager who scheduled the visit and was the only time I met with him in person. There was no reimbursement for travel. Despite multiple polite follow ups to HR and the hiring manager, I received no response. Several industry contacts independently advised caution about the company, which aligned with my experience. Overall, a disappointing process that did not reflect the professionalism I expect at this level.

Question 1
They focused almost entirely on culture fit rather than the substance of the role. The recurring question was some version of “Are you willing to be in the office five days a week and work in a very demanding environment where the CEO is hands on even with small tasks” with follow ups about comfort with long hours and rapid turnarounds.
Very straightforward. They keep your cv for future opportunities, mainly to cover for other receptionists until there is a permanent role so they will offerer the job to you. The interview itself is pretty easy and Gabriela makes you feel comfortable
