i was just trying to unlock some features. I was not an easy interview, but I managed it. It is from some technical manager. Asked detailed questions around coding and git.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at M800 in Jul 2022
Interview
The interview went well and it lasted close to an hour. Some questions towards my background and experience,
understanding on how I would typically handle a sales process. Asked if I'd prefer hunting over farming role.
The session then ended with the interviewer told me he would definitely like to progress me, asked me to expect an email from the HR regarding some writing test and then we are good to go. He even told me that the company can match salary expection. Guess what? It went silent since, even after several follow ups.
Note If you intend to work for or partner with this company, I think this tells a lot about the people and culture in this company (empty promises).
Just a suggestion that:- (1) for goodness sake avoid horrible behaviours such as ghosting/ignoring candidates especially when you ask someone to expect to hear back; (2) for whatever reason if you're not interested in the candidate then DO NOT give false hope in the first place.
Hiring and job hunting are two way's efforts and should mutually be respected.
