I applied through university. I interviewed at LyondellBasell (Houston, TX) in Sept 2018
Interview
There was an on campus night prior to the interview where supply chain associates and managers had a presentation on the company. First round interview was with 2 people (manager and associate), mostly tell me about a time questions. Second and final round was in Houston. There is a dinner the night before interviews with more employees and people interviewing too. Final round is 30 minute interviews with 5 managers and a lot of the same behavior questions. You hear back less than a week later of your status. Up to the final rounds, someone called you if you advanced. If you did not get accepted, you will be sent a typical HR email. I followed up after I didn't get an offer and was given no response which was a negative. It seems to be an older feel type of company and not a lot of young newly graduates.

Interview
Had seen the company for several semesters at a university career fair. Resumes had to be submitted through online university career center portal. Interviews were set up through the portal too. An Info Session was done the night before. Actual interview involved 2 LB people in a very small room on campus. Entire interview was behavioral questions. Questions seemed to be all negatively-oriented with the same few questions repeated but in different ways. If you want to work at LB, practice interview process multiple times before attempting to apply here. On the other hand, it could be viewed as good practice for future opportunities.

Question 1
Questions focused on negative experiences, i.e. dealing with difficult people, when an assignment didn't work out, not working well with superiors, etc.
LBI takes a very long time to reach out to you, and can be a bit unorganized. First they will schedule a phone interview, usually done by a recruiter. Then, if they like you, will arrange a personal interview. This interview can take up to 4 hours. The interview will consist of a panel with 3-4 managers and a one-on-one interview with another manager. All questions asked will be behavioral based questions directly from a questionnaire.
