I went through a total of 10 interviews. Including 2 phone interviews and the rest video calls. I had back to back interview panels. The duration from screening to an offer was over a 5-6 week period.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft (Orlando, FL) in Jul 2018
Interview
This was one of the best interview processes I have ever seen. I applied a few weeks ago and received a call from the recruiter Will for initial phone screen. Within a few days I had a phone interview with the market leader. Then a few days after that I did a virtual interview with with 3 leaders. The next day after that I did a virtual interview with the general manager and was offered that day. Overall it was a great experience. The recruiter was very quick in getting back to you. I think more importantly I felt myself and very comfortable during the interview. The conversations are very candid and focused on getting to know you. Everyone was extremely friendly and you get that family sense.
Very long interview process, with many hoops to jump through. Two or three recruiter screens before talking to a hiring manager. Worth it in the end. Best company I’ve ever worked for.

I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Lyft
Interview
Interview process took over 2 months. Started off with a phone interview with the recruiter who asked some basic things about you and your background. Next step in the process was a data analysis and mathematics exam. The exam I took consisted of 16 questions. Following a good score you move on to a phone interview with the Operations Manager. Last portion of the process is 4x30 minute interviews with members of the team.
The recruitment process at Lyft is chaotic and unorganized. I struggled to receive any information from my recruiter during any point in the process. I would have to consistently reach out and request to updated. Half of the time he said would update me at a certain date but never did until I asked yet again. Terrible communication. In addition, the Operations manager who runs the entire operation in the area was extremely unprofessional and seemed like he did not care. On the phone interview he would constantly mute his phone when I was speaking and when unmuted I could hear him laughing and talking to someone else in person. He barely asked any questions and did care to explain the position in detail. He generally seemed uninterested in what he was doing.
