2 interviews, very professional
The first interview was with a Lutz talent agent, the second interview was with the hiring manager for the CRA position.
Interview questions were typical of most jobs, nothing too unusual.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lutz in May 2024
Interview
The interview process was very detailed. I had a great experience learning about the role and more about the history of the company. The environment and culture is very inclusive and collaborative. Definitely an environment for growth.
I applied online. I interviewed at Lutz in Oct 2022
Interview
Applied online, was invited to interview on my campus, interviewed and thought it went well, and then I didn't hear back from them. I emailed just to be sure and finally got a confirmation I was rejected. I really wish they would have just cut to the chase initially instead of ghosting me. This was a company that I really wanted to work for and now I don't even want to see them at career fairs.
First part of the interview is informative, so do you want tax or audit and what year, graduation date, plans for CPA, etc. Then it goes into getting to know the interviewer and then they bounce it back to you. After that it's learning about the company and asking questions. Then there are a few situational/value-based questions.
