I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Luminostics (Milpitas, CA) in Jul 2020
Interview
Contacted by an external recruiter and coached through the interview process, as she was leaving the company she worked for. She called me constantly to make sure I was prepared. This was right at onset of Covid and they were rapidly producing a fast covid test. Had an interview with the CEO- that was a huge joke. Focused on my experience from over 15 years ago and not my most recent work experience at Start ups. It was not an interview, it was an interrogation. I wouldn't work for them at all. I didn't respond to any further calls after that train wreck. Looks like they didn't go very far...

Question 1
Tell me why you left jobs off your resume from 20 years ago
Interviewing was fine. The phone interview went well, their HR staff was supposed to be present, but it was only my hiring manager. The on-site interview was 2 hours long with multiple people and included a site tour. I had a good experience and walked about wanting the job.
I actually got the offer for the job and was elated after the phone call. I negotiated a different start date (the one listed was a week earlier than I had said). The changes were agreed to, but when it came time to sign the official updated offer letter-I never heard back from them. This was the week before I was supposed to start. I emailed daily from Tuesday on. Called Wednesday on. On Friday, I drove to the campus and didn't get let in the door assured I would be emailed/called back I haven't heard anything. I probably dodged a bullet, but telling me that the offer was rescinded would have been MUCH more professional than doing nothing at all.
