Question 1
what you know about certain modules and your previous relevant work experience
My first interview was with Kimber Harris. She was 10 min late to the interview only to let me know they were postponing the req. I got an email 3 days later asking to interview again. Again Kimber Harris was late to the interview. The interview was not well designed in questions or flow and seemed to be put together in like 2 minutes in a rush. After the interview was completed I was told they would be pushing me to the next round. After 1 week I followed up with Kimber and did not hear back. I just got an email saying the interview process is over and candidates were hired. I am completely disappointed in this process.
I applied online. I interviewed at Lumen in Aug 2024
Interview
Lumen Technologies uses HireVue, an AI platform used for screening candidates before actual interviewing with an actual person. That's right, they ask you a series of silly (albeit generic) questions and expect you to record yourself answering them in a one-sided video. This practice is awful as it opens up a company to discrimination and no explanation or reason as to what happens with your video and data. It makes you feel less than human and any company that uses this is garbage. So just know that if you apply and your application "passes", you will be immediately sent an email asking you to record yourself doing a one-sided interview. I don't know why these people think their time is more important than mine. What a joke.
