I applied online. I interviewed at Lumen in Apr 2022
Interview
You are sent a video interview request as soon as you apply before any review of your resume/application. Personally, I think this is very impersonal and not respectful of candidates time - you can easily eliminate half of the candidates with a quick review based on experience/salary expectations (which is asked on the app with the caveat to not reply "negotiable") and HR will have to do that anyway so why make every applicant take the time to complete a 30+ minute video interview?? Anyway, the interview is done through Hirevue with 6 behavioral questions asked and then 2 memory games to play. They give you a few helpful prep videos to help you out. You have 1 minute after you are provided each question to think of your reply and then recording starts. PROTIP: You get 2 tries to record your answer and you have unlimited time to start recording the 2nd time so you can definitely take some time to plan your response if needed. No offer yet, will update this review if I progress in the process.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had multiple priorities due at the same time.
Having all applicants complete a video process which took perhaps 30-45 minutes feels like a LOT of time to ask an applicant to invest without knowing if we're going to be considered by an actual human or not.
