I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lumen (San Marcos, TX) in Sept 2012
Interview
It was a group interviewing process with about 10 other people. Upon entering the waiting room I glanced into the office floor where sales and calls were being held, all employees were dressed in street clothing. By far CenturyLink was one of the most unprofessional interviews ive ever been on.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Lumen (Johnson City, TN) in Sept 2016
Interview
It was really easy. They e-mailed me immediately after I took the tests at home, the next day I had the phone interview, and the day after I had the face-to-face interview. Took about a week and a half for the drug test and background check, but everything was smooth sailing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basically about previous work experience and there is a role-playing part. Both are pretty easy.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Lumen (Minneapolis, MN)
Interview
I took two proficiency tests in the application process. One was for MS Word and Excel proficiency and general computer skills (typing speed, etc.), and the other was a basic reading, knowledge, etc. type of "STAR" test. Neither of them was very difficult and certainly should not pose a barrier to someone with a good high school education or college degree.
