Lumanu interview questions

This company is racist and condescending. I'm a black woman and when I joined the Zoom, they seemed surprised and were "curious that someone of background" would be applying for this job. During my interview they made snide comments about my hair and how I should've prepped it neatly for an interview (it's locs). Then they told me that my name was too complicated (black) for them to remember. I had it and told them I would like to rescind my candidacy and left. I can't believe they did this to me.

I applied through a LinkedIn job listing. I was contacted by the hiring manager within a couple days of applying. The process moved pretty quickly through separate interviews with a co-founder, the CFO, and the hiring manager again. They asked very challenging questions about how I would solve their very real problems. Looking back, I would recommend they ask candidates comparable but hypothetical scenarios to protect IP for candidates that are not hired.
