I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Lucid Software (New York, NY) in Oct 2016
Interview
Phone interview with Lucid employee mid-October. Says I'm through to next round for on-site interview.
Another team says they want to interview me at HQ, tell me they will conduct two on-site interviews for both teams. Told them I had a previous commitment at their selected time, but was free after that and excited to visit.
Weeks later, the other team scraps the on-site interview offer and makes me do another phone interview. Lucid employee for first team tells me they've paused recruiting in early November.
By December, the second team rejected my application without the promised on-site interview, and the first team had no contact with me.
Now January, still nothing from Lucid, and I accepted another offer.
The interview process for Lucid was disorganized, confusing, frustrating, and pathetic. I know Lucid is a great company, but their interviewing process was the worst I've ever seen (and I've interviewed with plenty of firms).
Combination of technical and behavoural. Algo and object design questions. Combination of OA and zoom interview. Well structured, fair questions. Leetcode style questions for technical questions for interview. Standard behavioural
It was pretty straightforward. I got a call from a recruiter, scheduled interview with the hiring manager, team, and executive. everything was done through email and phone call. If i had a question i could just contact the recruiter
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lucid Software

First you fill out a resume and general application and then you have ten days to complete an online coding assessment in any programming language of your choice. Then further rounds based on that.
