Scheduled for a phone interview with the recruiter. Recruiter showed up 15 minutes late, didn't have the common courtesy to apologize, acted as if it was completely normal. Red flag from the beginning. From the very beginning, the interview felt rushed. Even asked me WHERE I CURRENTLY LIVE and HOW FAR MY COMMUTE WAS which are questions that have nothing to do with my experience and skills required for the role! Recruiter even stated that he only had a few minutes left to answer any questions I had. let me remind you, recruiter showed up 15 MINUTES LATE, was supposed to be a 45 minute interview and ended up only being 25 minutes. After the interview, which I believed went extremely well, due to the recruiter saying he loved my detailed answers, I was told that a hiring manager would reach out in 2-3 days. Waited and 3 days passed, it's now the 4th day. I reach out to the recruiter who stated that the hiring manager hasn't made a decision yet. Fair enough. I waited 8 days total now. I've seen WAY too many reviews on Glassdoor about people being ghosted by this company, so that's when I decided to reach out to the hiring manager at the Studio I applied for. Hiring manager was very nice and explained that they had no visibility on my interview process and that I haven't been passed on to them yet... Only problem is that the recruiter stated that the hiring manager hadn't made a decision, but in reality, the hiring manager didn't even hear about my interview process yet! At this point, I don't know what to do. After speaking to the hiring manager, a few hours pass and I get a rejection email from the recruiter. Expected more professionalism from a company like Lucid, such a shame and a disservice to the company culture. Overall, I believe I wasn't given a fair chance, especially from being asked questions that were not at all relevant to the qualifications for the position! (Where do I currently live?/ How far is my commute?) To all the future applicants, this is what you can expect! From someone that fell in love with the company vision and culture, to being left with a sour taste in my mouth. WHAT A SHAME AND DISSERVICE TO LUCID, AND THE COMPANY CULTURE!

I applied on the site.... Soon 3 days later a recruiter reached out...We then schedule a zoom call for the following day. The process was very straight forward. It's the norms...about you, why wanted to work for the company, etc.
