Next steps were an interview with the director of the department.
Had a second interview with the director, but HR did not update me that this position changed from temp to permanent, and the Director was the one who shared this info and was clearly frustrated and uncomfortable that they were the ones now updating me with this new info and asking income requirement questions. HR was slow to communicate with me again when I emailed asking for clarification on this change in the role, and only replied to tell me they were passing me on as a candidate.
