The whole process was slow and feels as though the venue has not got a clear structure. There is a lack of communication, and the only communication received is via no reply automated emails. The actual interview was OK. Basic event management questions, to learn the skills and experience of the candidate. A 15-minute event presentation was also part of the process. Having learned from staff within the union that this job has been advertised for a while, and they are still yet to fill it. It would appear that the institution is using it to gain an idea for future events, and not actually looking to fill a position. Having chased 4 times following the interview, I am still awaiting any response from the Union, which I believe is unprofessional.
