The process started with a brief phone screening with the CIO. He asked about my background, basic information, and overall fit, and explained the role in general. The following week, I was invited to an in-person interview with the CIO and another manager.
The interview included mostly behavioral and background questions, along with a few high-level technical questions. There were no coding questions. The atmosphere was relaxed and conversational, more like a casual discussion than a structured interview. However, it felt somewhat random at times, and I didn’t feel that I was given a clear opportunity to fully demonstrate my technical abilities.
