Lorain County General Health District interview questions

One of the interviewers asked me “what is the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do in your life?” I felt the question was inappropriate. He also grilled me on a start date. I was getting married in a few days and going on a short honeymoon and didn’t feel comfortable giving that info as I didn’t want to be discriminated against. When I said I needed a weeks notice he repetitively asked me why and he was generally a very bad interviewer. I get the impression you have to know the right people to get in here.
