I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Loomacres Wildlife Management (Albany, NY) in Jan 2020
Interview
Very simple and relaxed. Made me very aware travel was a huge part of the job. I was on the phone for about 40 minutes. They made it seem like I got the job but I ended up not getting it. Luckily I checked up on the application process because I was not even getting a courtesy call.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Loomacres Wildlife Management (Cobleskill, NY) in Nov 2016
Interview
Standard process, no more or less complicated than other Wildlife Professional jobs that I've interview for. You're required to have a certain amount of knowledge going into the process regarding wildlife ID, mitigation and behaviors, in addition to having at least a smattering of knowledge on how to deal with wildlife issues, but in regards to how important and technical this job can be, it's very easy to see where the prerequisites come into play.
