I was interviewed by the people that were supposed to be my bosses, interview was easy but not really direct questions and they expected very elaborated answers, actually complained that I was being too direct, I value efficiency in everything I do, so I realised during the interview I wasn’t going to be a good fit for that team

First they do give you guidelines on how to answer the competency questions using the STAR formula You do have time to prepare yourself this is one interview you cannot go in blind.
