      Senior Software Engineer Interview

      9 Feb 2012
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Jose, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at LogLogic (San Jose, CA) in Sept 2011

      Interview

I got the pre-screen with the director. He called me onsite to meet with 4 others. The very first guy thought he was the smartest one and asked me to implement 'memcpy'. The second one was really easy and asked me about my projects The third one was a short geeky guy and asked me to write code for sem_init, etc The fourth one asked me some string manipulation sequence The director came back again and asked me about process address space and thread address space. He had a paper in his hand with some code written in which there was a fork() call and one global variable. He asked me what happens to the variable after fork(). After the first guy, I knew that I would not want to be at a place like this -- he had attitude!
