You do a Zoom interview with two consultants then if you move on, they invite you to the office for 4-5 hours. This is 2023, I find this all unnecessary, especially to be there for that long. Once you get there you'll see why it is set up in this way. All the higher-ups are very old(no offense to them), but all the lower-level employees are pretty young so that's good depending on how you look at it. I am not an accountant but from the first interview they liked my analytical skills and the younger team members seemed enthusiastic about bringing on people with these types of Data Analytic skills. After speaking with the "geezers" on charge it is clear that they are clueless about how Data and Analytics can help their and any business improve efficiency. So I wasn't selected and that whole interview was a waste considering none of the people I interviewed with understood how I could add value, so not sure why I was even invited.
