I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lionsgate (Santa Monica, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
I first gave a standard phone interview with HR, then I was asked to come into their office in Santa Monica to interview with the supervisor of the position and another member of the team. They then asked me to come back and meet with the head of the department.
The interview process was smooth and simple. I went through three rounds with the team leads and one with a recruiter. The whole process took about a month or so.
I applied online. I interviewed at Lionsgate (London, England) in Jan 2024
Interview
Poor recruitment process in general. First stage was an in-person interview in the office. Made to wait 15 minutes. Role was not as advertised. Never received a follow up email about next steps nor did they provide feedback. Stated they have higher salaries than competitor studios but they’re below market rate. Wouldn’t apply again.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Lionsgate (Hollywood, Los Angeles)
Interview
The entire process took 6 weeks. I was reached out via email and took it from there after a phone screening. I met with 4 different members of the team. Overall the people were friendly for the most part. But they don't seem to consider a candidates time throughout the process. The team members wouldn't give me their email for follow up reference - any questions or thank you notes has to go through another person which made the process feel a little awkward and impersonal. Four interviews for a role that pays 40k seems excessive.
