I had a friendly and proactive phone interview with the recruiter. She inquired about my background, asked me to explain a few things from my resume and gave me tons of information on what they are looking for. The recruiter was so nice, professional, and treated me with the utmost respect. After talking with her, I spent tons of hours understanding what LinkedIn was looking for in a candidate, researching their history and preparing for basic interview questions. The NEXT interview was with the hiring manager and it was the worst experience I have ever had. She was rude, condescending and kept the conversation short (it literally didn't last 10 minutes). I got off the phone in tears. I'm not one to cry over not getting a job, but it was the most horrible experience that left me shocked.
