Interview
I got a one hour phone interview first, in first half hour we discussed my experience in Machine Learning and was asked questions like: how Decision Tree works, why you choose SVM instead of other algorithm and etc. Second half hour spent on coding to solve a shortest path question between two nodes in a graph.
After the phone interview, I got on-site invitations to their HQ. Five sessions includes one with host manager. The rest four technical session was about: 1) Algorithm 2) Data coding 3) Data mining / Machine Learning and 4) Product design. Overall it is a very pleasure process.

Invited to interview on-site in Sunnyvale. Recruiters were EXTREMELY slow to schedule the interview and even worse following up afterwards. It took them a full month to give me any response after my on-site. Also, all 6 of my interviewers in the 6-hr interview were Asian men. Not a good look, LinkedIn, especially when you're recruiting a female engineer.

Interview
The interview process was positive but the Recruiter experience is negative. I was referred to a Data Scientist position but recruiter switched me to this position saying I don’t have e-commerce experience. She told me to prepare medium to hard coding questions so I took some classes and learned data structure and algorithms. And I postponed my interview and prepared two months to find that the position is more towards the data scientist position instead of software engineer and they tested me statistics and not much coding. The recruiter’s Instruction is really misleading and she refused to admit that after the interview and blamed me for poor performance in the interview.

Interview
I applied through employee referral. First had to clear a phone screen which was a mix of problem solving (Leetcode Easy) and conceptual questions on Machine Learning(just algorithms and how they work). I heard back from them the same day. Then I was called onsite, where I had to 6 rounds with 2 engineers in each round. The Algorithms and data structure questions were from Leetcode Medium. It's more of a discussion rather than an interview. The entire process was fun. But they took 2+ weeks to give out their decision.
