Lightspeed Systems interview questions

This company either outsources to an awful recruiting team or is incredibly unprofessional. After being contacted and bounced around between multiple recruiters, I scheduled a visual interview. While the interview itself went well it was definitely unique as the hiring manager did not ask anything about my experience but instead went on a tangent about AI. I was told the people person was out of office and I could expect a response within a couple days but I never received an update. I kindly followed up multiple times over the course of a month but never received a response. Ghosting anyone, let alone genuine and motivated candidates with relevant work experience after they’ve interviewed is not a good look. I likely dodged a bullet with this company.

After applying on Ziprecruiter I received a call from Lightspeed about a week later. I had interviewed and even received and offer in the past so the recruiter was very excited to speak with me about the opening. We caught up on what I did the last few years and what their Salesforce department’s goals were and how we were aligned. Very casual conversation but she was over the moon about getting me to the next round. In the next round I met with their Product Manager and Director of MIS where they asked about my background and more technical questions. Interview had great energy and I haven’t felt like I knocked an interview like that out the park in a while. I asked my questions, thanked them for their time and said I hope to hear about next steps, they responded “You’ll definitely here from us” and here I am 3 weeks later with no response and I see the job has been reposted. They haven’t responded to emails, or LinkedIn. Not even the decency to send a rejection. I say all this without malice towards them, but rather to prevent another person from stressing out if they haven’t heard from them. When interviews with them previously I heard back within 2 days every time. So, if you are interviewing with this company and you don’t hear back in a week you can stop wasting your time and move on too.
