I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Lighthouse Academies
Interview
Interviewers seemed bored, never smiled. I was overqualified but they didn’t seem interested in my experience at all. They did not say thank you or anything. When I later emailed them asking about a decision they said they hadn’t made one of yet and when I told them I had another offer I had to get back to in a timely manner they lied and said they Found someone. In 15 minutes? Thats a world record i suppose

Question 1
What would you do with a student who refuses to work
I applied online. I interviewed at Lighthouse Academies in May 2021
Interview
Questions were vague and up for interpretation. Did not offer much information about the school/classes. The panel was mostly cold and unfriendly, seemed like they did not want to be there to begin with. Had a corporate feel to it.

Question 1
How do you differentiate your lesson plans?
What do you base your curriculum off of?
How do you handle classroom conflict/behavior management
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Lighthouse Academies (Little Rock, AR) in May 2016
Interview
Before you can even sit down in a room with a hiring manager or principal you have to deliver a mock lesson to a classroom with supervision from the hiring team. Then you are asked to step out and the kids determine if they want you to move forward with the interview process.
Then, if the scholars enjoyed you and your lesson they will invite you back for a traditional interview.
