I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Lidl (Greenville, NC) in Mar 2017
Interview
Saw the store being built and then applied online. About 2 or 3 days later received an email and phone call requesting an interview. Was given 2 different days with 15-minute slots ranging from 8 am to about 5 pm to choose from for an interview.
Was interviewed by two managers, one of which was the future store manager at the store that I was interviewing for. The interview was very laid-back, informative and friendly.
Interviewed on Wednesday and then received job offer on Tuesday of the next week.
It was a conversation with the manager. He asked me about my experience, where I thought I’d be in 5 years, why I wanted to work there, and similar type interview questions.
Overall, it was a basic interview process. They asked about experience and why someone would be a good fit for the role. Just have some well-thought-out answers to common interview questions beforehand, and you should be fine.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lidl (Fresh Meadows, NY) in Jun 2025
Interview
Really easy interview process. Simple behavioral questions and scenario questions. Little to no pressure, very laid back. You should know the companies overall message and use that while interviewing for this position. Almost anyone can get hired, with or without experience.
