I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Lidl (Shannon)
Interview
Very laid back and informal. Interviewed by one person in a hotel meeting room. Very basic questions about yourself and what you'd bring to the role. Applied online for the position and got a call for an interview the following week. They called back 2 days after the interview. Was told that if you progress to the nedt stage there are small numeracy amd other tests to see if you're suitable.

Very straightforward process.
One person interviewed me and asked a few questions.
Did not last more than an hour, if that.
I had one interview and then an offer was made.
Phone interview and then in person interview. Pretty quick and easy and doesn’t take long to hear back. Questions are pretty standard like ‘why Lidl?’ and ‘what’s your favourite item we sell’. Also a few scenario based questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Lidl (Cardiff, Wales) in Jan 2026
Interview
Really nice manager and chill atmosphere. Didn't ask me any scenario based questions or any that I had to provide a "star" like paragraph; more focused on how prepared/ committed/ able you are to do a lot of work.
