I had a phone interview, lasted about 30 min, very nice, typical interview questions. In person interview was scheduled and there was a power point presentation and company overview, a side by side, and then a panel interview with 2 very nice ladies.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Liberty Mutual Insurance (Warrenville, IL) in Aug 2015
Interview
Began with a phone interview shortly after submitting to an assessment test online. Phone interview was pretty easy...questions the recruiter asked for were mostly customer service based and took about 20-25 minutes. After about a week, received a email regarding a face to face interview at the claims facility with 2 team managers. Interview questions were mostly situation based and customer interaction. My interview was done by both managers face to face. This process took about 2 hours overall and went very well for me since I had years of customer service and management experience. They give you a intro about the company to start off with and all the benefits if we are offered a position. After about a week I received the official offer to start in about a month for training and I accepted.

Interview
Targeted selection questions that focus on a situation, your role, and an outcome. Screening is done with a recruiter and an assessment is used. If you pass you get an in person interview with two managers. They also allow job shadowing. the on sight process can last a couple hours. Don't be surprised if there are multiple candidates as they tend to hire in groups for this entry level position. A college degree is not needed but it can be helpful.
