I have worked for some LARGE (Big Names) corporations and this was the worse experience I’ve ever encountered in 20 years of work experience. The interviewer was extremely impersonal, he didn’t know where I currently worked and had a copy of my resume in front of him, he didn’t know the dates of my employment, again, had my resume in front of him, asked me for my salary requirements which are clearly indicated because it was asked of me prior to submitting my application. The screening was very robotic and gave me hesitation IMMEDIATELY! All of the previous comments are true. Do not apply here, it’s not a safe CAREER move. Although I read through the previous comments to gauge what previous employees and interviewees experienced, I still applied to see for myself because everyone isn’t always a good fit for a position, but the responses are SPOT ON!

-Applied for the position. -Updated to application under review. -Received a email to schedule a phone screen with a recruiter. The phone screen was 5 days later after the email. - Phone screen lasted about 20 mins. Recruiter said will forward resume to hiring manager, and should hear something back about 5 business days. Received an email 4 days later after the phone screen that LM decided to move on to better experience candidates. Hope it goes well for others who are looking for a job at LM.

Applied online, a few days later, I got a phone call from HR to set up phone interview, phone interview went well. About a week later, was told they would like to do a face to face interview. I interviewed with 2 "hiring managers", neither could have been older then 25. They asked the STAR questions, gave them my response, and both took notes which were maybe 1 or 2 words per question. After the interview, I asked for their emails, one of them didn't even know his email. Same one walked me downstairs, talked to me about the company, told me his boss was out because her dad was in hospice and had only a day or so to live, then he laughed. Yes, seriously. Note to Liberty Mutual..if you want quality people, get some quality managers that are professional and have some experience under their belts and know how to conduct proper interviews. This is what you have making the hiring decisions? While I did not get the position, I do feel I dodged a bullet with this one.
